Bubbles The Clown did an outstanding job presenting his organization's financial literacy program.  ...there were about 125 children at a school.  The children were very responsive.  Bubbles (aka David Felzenberg) has a good way with the children.  At the end of the presentation, he asked the kids what they had learned.  They said, "saving money."

Bubbles The Clown, presented Financial Fitness for Kids at our Lansdowne branch, located in one of the most economically challenged areas of Baltimore County.  The children's ages ranged from older preschoolers to fifth graders.  Dressed as a clown, Bubbles presented a fun, interactive program that emphasized fiscal responsibility in a way that engaged the kids.  He was able to keep the kids' interest with silly magic tricks, while helping them understand the importance of spending wisely, saving and donating.  Bubbles stayed after the program to talk with the kids and their parents.
Given our current economic situation, the importance of educating young children about financial responsibility is crucial for the future of our economy.  Having fun programs to get the message across, such as the one presented by bubbles, is an engaging way to do it.

I have known David Felzenberg for many years.  He has a passion for using the performing art of clowning to teach children about financial literacy, reading literacy, prevention of childhood obesity, and environmental awareness.  As Bubbles The Clown, he has the ability to bring children (and their parents) in the door at a venue such as schools, Head Start centers, child care centers, recreation centers, libraries, and more.  Once the children are at the event, Bubbles knows how to interest them in the topic and to keep them engaged for his one-hour program.  His programs are interactive, and he encourages the kids to get involved in the show.  David and the Board of Directors of the nonprofit organization that they represent -- Bubbles The Clown Education Organization -- believe that children, particularly in underserved communities, can greatly benefit from these programs.

I have known David for over two years as a result of his monthly volunteer performances at our Museum.  David and I began a professional partnership as a result of the work I do at Port Discovery, Baltimore Children's Museum.  David - in his role as Bubbles The Clown - is an integral player in our program.  In these challenging economic times David has stepped up to the plate and supported the museum like no other!  . . . Each day that David is on-site he performs magic and creates balloon sculptures with young children and their families.  He teaches our littlest visitors that clowns are fun and not scary beings.  David is an enthusiastic, knowledgable, and highly capable performing artist.  His repertoire includes colorful lessons on financial literacy and diversity bring a smile to everyone's face and have staying power in our hearts. . . . I highly recommend David to funding organizations who are serious about offering financial assistance to individuals committed to making a difference for the people they serve.  He is dependable, knowledgeable, and an incredibale performer.  Don't take my word for it . . . experience BUBBLES for yourself!
